In case you haven’t heard, we have two new US National Champions at Robot! Tim and Laercio both won hard brackets to take home gold at US Nationals!
Among the many Lotus medals, the following Robot competitors won the following medals:

Dom Hoskins: Bronze
Pat Gunderson: Bronze

Lotus (Robot/OC) swept the Tinguinha competition this weekend bringing home about 90% of all medals awarded. Even after moving up to higher weight classes, David Telfer and Jun Chong (Lotus OC) closed out the purple belt division and Tim Peterson and Evan Cathey (Lotus OC) did the same against much bigger opponents in the brown belt division. Lotus closed out 3 different brackets!!! (This means we took 1st and 2nd place!)

So, you need to register by Friday (today!) for the tournament.
Go to http://www.tinguinha.com/tbjjinhousetournament.html to register and pay. You can weigh in on Saturday or Sunday. I recommend Saturday if you are cutting weight. All the info is on their site.
There are going to be a lot of Lotus members competing so this should be a great tournament! If you are coming or competing you must wear a Lotus or Robot shirt!!!

Also, congrats to Robert who went down to Grappling X on his own two weeks ago and rocked them competition earning a gold medal.

There is a new class on Sundays and open mat has moved around. Please check the schedule page. Also, Giva Santana will be teaching his first class at Robot next Sunday, March 14th at 12:30pm (Tim is teaching this Sunday, March 7th)
If you plan on competing, it is very important to come to the Sunday class!!
