Weight Divisions: As this is an “in-house” style tournament, there will be no “official” weight divisions. We are grouping competitors by similar weights with a weight differential between the heaviest and lightest person in the bracket being no more than 10 pounds. The only exception is in the Heavyweight Division which will be reserved for competitors over 220 pounds. Weight is determined on the honor system. If we suspect a competitor of being dishonest about weight, they will be weighed. Dishonest competitors will be disqualified with no refund.Experience/Age level: All divisions will be delineated by rank and we will not mix belt levels. Kids will be broken into similar age divisions (i.e. a 7 year old won’t go against a 11 year old) with the minimum age being 5. Competitors without matches will be offered to compete in a different division or have their entrance fee refunded.
Time Limits:
Kids 6 and under: 2 minutes
Kids 7-12: 3 minutes
